Marc Camille Chaimowicz

In 2005, the Zoo Portfolio was published by ARCHEUS to assist with fundraising for the now defunct Zoo Art Fair, the first Frieze satellite fair which was set up to showcase very new emerging galleries and artists. Curated by David Thorp, the portfolio was very early to realise the importance of, and to include works by, Ryan Gander and Anj Smith in particular. Published in an edition of 50, a further deluxe edition of 10 copies was planned, which was to be housed in an embossed box based on designs by Marc Camille Chaimowicz. The deluxe edition was never realised, but the original designs and specifications remain.
